About. At GRACE we believe strongly in something that makes Henrietta such a great place to serve: family. Family is central to life in Clay County, and to life in a church. Established in 1957
What began as East Side Mission, in the summer of 1957, soon grew into Grace Temple Baptist Church of Henrietta, Texas. Like Henrietta, GTBC has weathered the highs and lows that come with life in rural West Texas. Although much has changed in the past 60 years, much still remains the same. We are true to our roots, as a church with a mission to reach those in our community without a faith family to call their home. GRACE remains dedicated to this day to serving the residents of Clay County, as were our parents and grandparents decades ago. At GRACE we believe strongly in something that makes Henrietta such a great place to serve: family. Family is central to life in Clay County, and to life in a church. We take family seriously, and whether you are building, rebuilding, or looking for family, we believe that GRACE is a great place to start!

Our Team
Doug and Ginnie followed God’s calling to GRACE in December of 2007. They have been married for 34 years and have eight incredible children; as well as 13 beautiful grandchildren. Holding degrees in Christian Ministry, Biblical counseling and Business Administration, Doug and Ginnie lead us to a closer relationship with Christ and work tirelessly to help us grow into the strong Christian families God created us to be. They invite you to experience GRACE as we grow and worship together.

1 Corinthians 9:19-23Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.
